A new pedestrian bridge over the River Trent in Nottingham was proposed back in 2018.
Funding, amounting to some £18m, was obtained from The Government and fabrication of the bridge was started in early 2025.
It soon towered over the surrounding town and became known as The Hucknall Arch.
In August, fabrication was completed and the bridge was dismantled and taken for de-rusting, painting and eventually to be installed over the River Trent, connecting the Lady Bay area of West Bridgford with the Trent Basin at Sneinton.
On 10 November 2025, the time came for the bridge to be lifted over the river by a large crane.
